Happy Sunday Sitreps Fam! I am back from an exciting Army Navy and in full on holiday mode. I am looking forward to some time off here in the next couple of weeks. I’m planning to spend some time down in Florida at the beach in Seaside and then a trip to Disneyworld with my family. What to do if you get waitlisted at an MBA program
It's December which means round 1 MBA admission decisions are arriving in everyone's email inboxes. You have been counting down the days until admission decisions are released and catch your breath when you see the subject, “Your MBA admission decision is ready” from the school you applied to. You click on the link, enter your credentials to access the application system and open the admissions decision. You read the following.
“We are unable to offer you admission to our MBA program at this time. However, we have placed you on our waitlist.”
This is obviously disappointing news as you have spent months diligently working on your application, taking the GMAT/GRE, coaching recommenders, going through admission interviews and maybe even visiting campus.
However, not all hope is lost. Here is what you can do.
